Japan is a more popular destination than ever. My extensive travel industry translation experience includes projects for tourist boards and regional associations, museums, hotels and onsen, major travel companies, and national government agencies. I have completed several hundred projects in this field, covering everything from websites and PR materials to content for top destinations.
Cultural Heritage
Japan’s spiritual and cultural traditions are central to its identity. My background in anthropology and Asian spiritual traditions informs my frequent translations on Shinto, Buddhism, and Shugendo mountain asceticism, as well as pilgrimage routes, historical sites, and festival-related materials. I have extensive experience with projects related to the nation’s many cultural heritage sites.

The cultural heritage and natural environment in Japan are deeply interconnected, providing a traditional bridge to modern concepts of sustainability.
